Anchor Program Fund
The Anchor Program Fund is the charitable, nonprofit organization that was established to support programs, fund special activities and events, as well as the necessary supplies and equipment for individuals with disabilities participating under the Town of Hempstead’s Camp A.N.C.H.O.R Program. Give your time and support our next initiative.
Camp A.N.C.H.O.R Volunteer
The Town of Hempstead Camp Anchor volunteer program is very competitive and therefore there are only opportunities to be put on the wait list two times per year. The next opportunities to get onto the volunteer wait list are:
For the F/W/S 2023-2024 - Call in on 8/16/2023
For SUMMER 2024 - Call in on 1/2/2024

Age requirements:
Fall/Winter/Spring: Must be 14 by October 1.
Summer: Must be 14 by July 1.
